A Gold Souq or Gold Souk is a gold market in arab countries of Arabian Peninsula and particularly in GCC countries.The word Souq is mostly used by Arabs for open markets.
The metal is abundant enough to create coins but rare enough so that not everyone can produce them. Pure gold is slightly reddish yellow in color,but colored gold in various other colors can be produced.
