About Marymatha Boys Cottage

Marymatha Boys Cottage is a residential home for the destitute children of the society devoid of any discrimination of caste or creed, founded by Fr. Alex Chakkalayil, an Orthodox Syrian priest of Kunnamkulam Diocese, Kerala, South India. This Institution was established on 2nd February of 2000 at Arthat, with the purpose of providing care and affection to the destitute children.
Now Marymatha Boys Cottage is situated at Aanakkallu, Perumpilavu, Kunnamkulam, Thrissur Dt, around 7 km away from the Kunnamkulam city. As a registered institution (Reg. No. 1061/2004) under the Board of Control for Orphanages and Other Charitable Homes of Social Welfare Department Of which is under the Ministry of Kerala Government. It renders selfless service to the needy and downtrodden. Being a pure charitable institution it runs with the financial aid from the benevolence of the local beneficiaries who render the lion share of the fund.
