Mar Thoma College, Chungathara is for rural development and was established in the year 1981. It is managed by the "Mar Thoma College, Chungathara" Educational Society. The college is affiliated to Calicut University. It has been accredited and assessed by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) at the B++ Level.
