ILLIKKALAM Lakeside Cottages, is located, just on the shores of beautiful Lake Vembanad, at the best location of Kumarakom village in Kerala State. Cottages are overlooking and located at the bank of Lake Vembanad, is an eco friendly holiday property in one and a half acres of land, perfectly suitable for relaxation and holidaying for many days at comparatively lesser tariff and with basic facilities and many recreational activities in Kumarakom.

There are 20 Ac Rooms, comfortable for more than 40 persons which includes Lake Facing Cottages, Lake Facing Family Cottages, Non Lake Facing Rooms and also have 4 Non Ac Rooms.

Activity Hall & Restaurant
Activity Hall with the seating capacity of 75 people can be used for family get together, engagements and other functions. We provide fresh and safe food and beverages on order from the Restaurant.

Backwater Cruising In Houseboats
We provide Houseboats, Shikara, Motorboats and Speed Boats, from just in front of our Cottages for cruising through Kumarakom backwaters.

Facilities For Feeding of Rabbit, Goose, Ducks, And Have Meliponiculture (Small Honey Bee) Catching fish for pleasure, Recreational sports at the evening, basket ball, shuttle court, table tennis, caroms, chess etc. Walker’s path around the Organic Farm can be used at the evening and morning for keeping up your health and also for watching birds around the property, exploring the organic farm and fruit trees.

Organic Farm: Is maintained with the help of manures, getting from the Vermi Compost System and also by using the slurry from the biogas plant. There is lot of fruit trees, vegetables and plants in the organic farm, usually we provide one or two dishes from the farm.

Power & Waste Management
There is a 100 Kva transformer of Kerala State Electricity Board in the property for the Power Supply and for Backup there is by 5 Kva solar power unit and also supported by 40 Kva Generator for meeting the Power Requirement . Biogas Plant, Vermi Compost Unit and Em Composting is introduced in the property for Waste Management, therefore the entire property is clean and tidy.
