Cruise'N Lake is owned by Sri. Jose P.V., Puthenpura, a retired defense officer. Puthenpura Tourist Enclave is a Government approved Homestay unit with 9 AC Double rooms and a few ordinary rooms. Delicious food is served with fresh river fishes like prawn, karimeen, etc. at cheaper rates.Tourists are given provision for self cooking using gas stoves.It lends on rent motor boats, speed boats, house boats, rowing boats, country boats, etc. There is also provision for rowing, canoeing, water sports, swimming, fishing using hooks or nets. Night stay could be arranged in the specially designed home stay units or in lake Vembanad in House boats or motor boats. Coconuts are available in plenty and so fresh coconut juice is available as a natural drink.
