AVICENNA TAJIK STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY TAJIKISTAN

Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, named after Abuali ibn Sino is the largest educational and scientific-practical centre and a national university of the Republic of Tajikistan on training specialists in medical field,established in the year of 1939 and located in Dushanbe. It is governed by the Ministry of Health.

INFRASTRUCTURE

The ATSMU has modern educational buildings, clinics and laboratories, which include 5 faculties: medical, paediatrics, dental, pharmaceutical and the faculty of Public Health.The university`s pedagogical and personnel potential is quite intellectual and highly educated. There are 63 departments. It has got scientific and clinical centres, Stem Cells Laboratory, Evidence based Medicine Centre, Drug Information Centre, Educational-clinical Centre -Stomatology,Diagnostic and Treatment Centre, Clinical Skills Centre.
