MediHome started in Kollam in August 2016 as a home based health care system with the desire to counsel, educate and encourage people to periodically monitor their health. This will enable them detect variations in health parameters as early as possible and prevent complications. After all, prevention is better than cure!

In this era of old age population, life-style diseases, reversal of young-old demographic pattern, lack of carers, nuclear families, we felt the need for home based health care system in all time history. The difficulty in shifting the patient to hospitals, the financial burden involved in regular hospital visits and traumatic end of life at hospitals add to the necessity of such a service.

Additionally, MediHome aims to end the contemporary method of health care delivery system and reinforce the family doctor concept. Moreover, recover the trust and relationship between medical team and family; create a health conscious society and an independent old age population.
