Govt. Hi-tech Dairy Farm and Farm Tourism Centre is spread across 106 acres of land on the banks of Kallada river about 5 KM. from Punalur Town in Kollam District.
Govt. Hi-tech Dairy Farm, Kuriyottumala, one of the largest livestock farms of Animal Husbandry Department, Kerala, was started as a dry stock farm in 1962. Dry cows and hei... fers of farmers were received in the farm and returned after conception. Buffalo rearing started in July 1982 and farm was renamed to Buffalo Breeding farm. Later on dairy cattle, goat and rabbit rearing were introduced. In 2017 farm was coverted to Hi-techDairy Farm.
