Comtrust Eye Care Hospital is situated in the heart of Tellichery town, City center. A well equipped eye care hospital with state of the art operation theatres working under the Chief Surgeon Dr. Sreeni Edakhlon,MD(AIIMS),DNB,FRCS,MNAMS,PGDHHM who probably does the maximum number of cataract surgeries in Kerala. Cataract surgeries are done using Soveriegn Whitestar Cold Phaco Machine with ICE technology. The Retina department has Zeis Fundus Camera, Retinal Laser and for the first time in Kannur District, Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT). OCT also helps in early detection of Glaucoma.Dr.Gopal S Pillai, one of the leading retinal surgeons in India is a visiting consultant in the Retina department headed by Dr.Simi Manojkumar.
