PPG Asian Paints Private Limited was the first Indian Paint Manufacturer to be recommended for ISO: TS 16949 – a Technical Standard mandated by the Automotive Industry for their suppliers. ISO: TS 16949 has additional requirements specific to Automotive customers in addition to basic ISO 9001 requirement. PPG Asian Paints was certified for ISO: TS 16949:1999 in the year 2001. Later, when the standard was updated, PPG Asian Paints was certified to the latest edition of this standard, i.e. ISO: TS 16949:2009. The Mission of PPG Asian Paints is to become a leader in automotive and industrial coatings, supplying products and services to our customers that meet their requirements on time, every time.
