Overview
PRS College of Engineering & Technology (PRSCET) is promoted by the illustrious PRS Group of Companies. Conceived by Late P. Ratnaswamy, a civil engineer by profession, the PRS Group began its sucess saga as a construction firm in 1950. Sri. R. Murugan, an engineer like his father Sri. P. Ratnaswamy is the present CEO of PRS Group and is ably assisted by his son Sri. Sabari Rathen M., a Post Graduate Engineer. The group has grown by leaps and bounds over the years and has an emphatic presence across different business sectors like Construction, Health Care, Hospitality and Education.
A recent entrant into the education scenario, PRS with a plan to carve out a niche for itself in professional educational arena has added PRS College of Engineering &Technology to its fold. The college, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education & affiliated to the University of Kerala, is located in the serene and hilly terrains of Neyyattinkara and surrounded by plantations covering 25 acres of land.
With innovative teaching methodology, proficient and experienced faculty, state-of-the-art infrastructure and an unfettered environment to spur intellectual activity, the college encourages students in co-curricular activities, as well as in sports, along with academic studies. The group has chalked out aggressive growth plans and envisages to be the global standard in quality professional education.
