Defence Preparatory Training Academy is a premier academy located at Ottappalam that is dedicated to imparting training to educated youth so that these youngsters are able to compete successfully for recruitment into the armed forces. The Academy imparts coaching for the various recruitment examinations being conducted by the UPSC from time to time.
