Jyothis Institute of Medical Technology was established in the year 1981. The institution, which has made dynamic progress in educational and research activities, over the last few decades established itself as a leader in paramedical education in the state of Kerala in private sector. The mission is to provide vocational training for the youth. Medical care is a primary facility offered by the government to the people. For achieving this, many medical institutions, hospitals and clinics have been setup in the Government and private sector. But there is a lack of medical and technical staff to fill up the large requirements in this field. Para medical staff is essentially needed by each and every hospital and clinic. Nowadays no treatment is discharged without clinical, radiological and cardiac findings. Hence, well experienced technicians are no less important than other professionals in the medical field. The government also provides full support to self-employment schemes of technically qualified staffs. With this objective in mind, the institute offers various para medical courses.
