‘Samiira’ meaning ‘heavenly breeze’ in Sanskrit is blessed with a refreshing breeze most days. The resort is a secret oasis of calm and tranquility on the banks of Ashtamudi Lake right in the heart of historic Quilon town.

Sitting quietly on the waters‘ edge, guests are provided with sweeping views of the lake, coconut palm groves and of a unique wetland ecosystem which supports many species of fish and resident and migratory birds.

The property has 2 gracious expressions, one of a Kerala colonial past and lifestyle and the other of traditional homes displaying the sophisticated mastery in joinery of the erstwhile state of Travancore. It is built on a concept of upcycling vintage heritage structures and elements from various famous landmark buildings.
