About Newman College, Thodupuzha

Newman College is an institution of higher education, established, owned and administered by the diocese of Kothamangalam. The College started functioning in the present campus on 15th December 1964. The College was accredited by NAAC at Three Star Level for a period of 5 years w.e.f. the academic year 1999-2000. The NAAC of the University Grants Commission re-accredited the college at 'A' grade in 2007. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.
