OUR LOVING HOME:

SANDHWANAM, a non-profit organization, which was started by a dedicated team of social workers in May 2000.
Appreciating our endeavors, the state Government's statutory body-
Orphanage Control Board has granted recognition . The present home of our children is located at a building on lease for 10 years (by ROTARY CLUB COCHIN CENTRAL) at Sivagiri Colony, Aluva east, EKM (2 km distance from Kalamassery Medical College).

OUR VISION

To provide comprehensive rehabilitation, treatment and education for the differently abled. To enable them to become personally adequate. So as to smoothen their re-entry in to the mainstream of the society.

OUR TEAM

We all the head the organization with the help of a good and kind hearted people and dedicated staff consisting of social activities, professionals engaged in various arenas look after these children with utmost care and caution they need, with the strive to nature them back to the good walks of life. A homely and loving atmosphere is maintained at our home.

OUR MISSION

We aim to provide a platform for the isolated and downtrodden in the society with the objective of ensuring social justice to the deserving citizens of tomorrow, upholding the strive for equality among all as guaranteed in our constitution.

OUR CHILDREN

The children of Sandhwanam are those Angels of God. Sandhwanam provide unconditional love, care and a kind heart to these Angles, who are the gift of God. Education and health care of the children are given prime importance. Special efforts are made to make the children proficient in skills to facilitate their total integration back to the main stream of our society, to mould each and every one of them as tomorrow's citizens, in whom the future of our great nation vests.

FACILITIES OFFERED

Boarding facilities for children.
Games and special activities are devised to develop the mental capacities of the children.
Counseling & medical check-ups are under taken to keep track of the mental status and growth to the children.
Children are go to various school and we teach them art and craft bag making, sheet metal works, toy making, Fancy Jewellery making etc.....

Tremendous increases in the number of inmates over the years have made us realize the potential of our services in the society. In an attempt to expand our horizons and provide better infrastructure and developmental facilities, we hope to construct our own dream home for girls and boys in the future.
