A. V. Abdurahiman Haji Arts and Science College was started in 2002 in the Salafi Campus on the bank of the Kuttiadi river. Affiliated to the University of Calicut, with a rich and unique tradition, the college is unquestionably the best institution run by the Meppayur Salafiyya Association, the premier educational organisation of Muslims in Kozhikode District.
